Night Bus (27min) Directed by Todd Lillethun The documentary titled “Night Bus” explores issues of change for a street outreach team in Chicago. The film follows a street outreach team for six months as they meet with homeless persons in Humboldt Park and introduce ideas to improve their lives. As the homeless reveal histories of substance abuse, prostitution, and personal tragedy, the team show them how their lives could be different. But the process for change is slow and frustrating. The main outreach worker departs from burnout, and another tries to fill his shoes and offer a fresh perspective on their mission.
