This documentary shines a light on the urgent need to protect the human rights of African grandmothers who face gender- and age-based discrimination while raising their grandchildren orphaned by HIV/AIDS. It follows three grandmothers as they travel from their communities in Swaziland and Uganda to testify at the African Grandmothers Tribunal in Vancouver, Canada.
