When the Israel Defense Force invaded Gaza in January 2009 Gaza the United Nations appointed an
independent panel to investigate. The Goldstone Report accused both Israel and Hamas of war crimes.
While the conclusion of the report has been hotly contested its content has not. From Under the Rubble
is a personal account of one of the central incidents documented by the panel.
