Tents: The Patchwork Project (Darfur, USA, 20 min)
Directed by Francesca Roveda
TENTS: The Patchwork Project casts a glimmer of hope on the desperate situation in Darfur. In the film children across the U.S. collaborate with Darfuri children living in refugee camps. The artwork of children is woven together as a powerful message of peace and solidarity. Through this communal art project, we’re bridging the gap between a tent camp of Darfur refugees living in Chad and concerned people in the United States, the painted panels express the consciousness that we are all connected, and that when one of us suffers, we all suffer.
